La Union's Operation Tuli: HOLDS A RECORD OF 700 patients in 1 hour!

 OPERATION TULI:  A Doctor, Law Graduate, and a reelected Honorable City Councillor of San Fernando, La Union Jessie Miranda aims to be the Worlds fastest circumciser. He wants to have a record of having the most number of patients in an hour.

He is submitting he's records and documentation in the  Guinness Book of Records.

“I think this is the first time that a doctor like me is aiming for the record and I know I was the first because I conducted research if there is such a record, but there’s none,” he said. 

In less than a minute is hes one operation, 

Starting at 8:15 a.m. Miranda circumcised boys from different barangays of San Fernando City, who lined up at the City Health Office in April 20, 2008. In an hour, there are 700 boys who have been circumcised :) 

Now he back on his Operation Tuli, he operated 400 patients in just one Barangay!

1st Mayors Cup Invitational Darts Tournament: Singles and Doubles Divisions nakuha ng La Union

Darts is a indoor and a form of throwing sports in which small missiles or dart pins are thrown at a circular dart board fixed to a wall. Though various boards and rules have been used in the past, the term "darts" usually now refers to a standardized game involving a specific board design and set of rules. As well as being a professional competitive sport, darts is a traditional pub game, commonly played in Britain and Ireland, across the Commonwealth, the Netherlands, Germany, the Scandinavian countries, the United States, and elsewhere, like here the Philippines. 

Early April 21, 2017, the Set up of the venue begun, lead by the SFCLUDA Pres. Engr. Mike Flores. 

After 5 years, another Mayor's Cup was been held in the Peoples City of San Fernando, La Union. April 22, 2017 at the Pacoy Ortega Gym. 

Its a 1st Mayor's Cup Invitational darts Tournament where in Darters all over the Northern Luzon gather for a battle of skills, honor and pride. This was organized by the San Fernando City La Union Darters Association (SFCLUDA) lead by its President Engr. Mike Flores and its Vice President Engr. Joey Doctolero. Sponsored by the City Government of San Fernando, La Union, Mayor Dong Gualberto and Vice Mayor Alf Ortega.

  The Registration stated 9:00am April 22, 2017 at the venue itself Pacoy Ortega Gym. The game started at 1:00 in the afternoon, the battle of the Doubles division. In this division, players will have a random partner and they will play together against other pairs. Its a single elimination, so once they lose, they no chance of winning.

The still Undefeated Rap MC on FLIPTOP, having millions of views on Youtube from his Rap Battles. Jomari Espiritu a.k.a. Pricetagg and he is called the "La Union Pride" in his Province. Behind his Gangster and thug image in media, 

is a good and loving father, a romantic husband, a loyal friend and God-fearing and law abiding citizen of La Union.

With a record of 6-0 from his rap battles in Fliptop, he defeated popular names in the industry, like "AKLAS", "ZAITO", "APEKZ", "FROOZ" and the Rapping Rapist "BADANG".... not to mention this two Fliptop Giants that he knocks on stage, 

"ABRA" AND "BATAS!

The La Union Pride loves La Union so much even he was raised in Metro Manila, he always represents his province, but a sad reality that La Union hates him the most, even event organizers from his province always doesn't include him in some events, due to talent fee demands. Of course, as he goes his way to the top, his Price increases. 
As the La Union Pride climb his ladder to the Top of the Rap industry, intrigues are now his obstacles on his way up.Haters multiply from in and out of La Union, specially in NCR and nationwide. Rumors from his haters spread that his been killed or dead, Negative posts and blogs surrounds him everyday . But non of this has been proven right. The La Union Pride has never been affected on this issues instead he used this rumors and his haters as his source of strength to the real battle in real life.

He is now teaming up with Cris Delano in one of Fliptop's events "DOS POR DOS", a 2 on 2, single knock-out and a ladderized rap battle to the top. They already beaten the team of "Pistolero and Prince Rhyme". They will now clash with "Sinio and Typsy-D", a much awaited  epic battle in DOS POR DOS, that may sure boost Fliptop another million views on Youtube and giving respect and pride again to La Union.

Ayon sa isang himpilan, ang biktima ay nakilalang si Alejandro Camat Jr, 51 y/o at ang suspek daw ay si Bienvenido Raquedan, 79 y/o. Parehonh taga Brgy. Patpata.

Ang kwento, natutulog etong si Camat sa kanyang kubo nang lumapit etong si Raquedan, at nag usap sila. Nang biglang pinagbintangan ni Camat etong si Raquedan na nagtago ng tsinelas nya, at biglang sumama ang loob nitong si Raquedan at umuwi, pagbalik daw nito ay may dala na etong kutsilyo na may "12 inches and a half " ang haba at sinaksak nito si Camat...

Agad din sumuko si Raquedan sa Pulisya.

PAGWANAWANAN ARTS FESTIVAL

 Coming up with a name for the festival was challenging; we don't want it to sound generic – we wanted the festival name to have a unique identity that can represent a wide range of subjects, a name that can best represent the mission of the festival, and can truly personify La Union and its culture.

PAGWANAWANAN, John Parmisano suggested, we were skeptical but once we heard the definition and his interpretation we just knew that this is the name for the art festival.
